February Update

And the winter weather roller coaster keeps going... After the low temperatures of the last week, hopefully we can enjoy at least a couple warmer days.

The Social Committee's plans for the board (and card) games night at Tony Roma's on Saturday March 10 have firmed up nicely: we will start at 7pm, with a variety of board games, card games and interactive games — something for everyone!!!! The cost is $15 per person, and includes a selection of appetizers plus a soft drink or coffee. There will be a bar for those who would like an alcoholic beverage (at your own cost). There will also be a 50/50 draw.

The plans for the spring concert are also coming together now:

Starting with a light supper for the Yorkton band and us (veggies and dip, buns, cold cuts, cheese, pickles, coffee, pop and some dessert squares). It would be polite and courteous for all members to attend this supper as we are the hosts.After the light supper we will set up and have a massed band rehearsal. The exact time will be available when the Yorkton band has finalized their plans, but perhaps plan on being at the church by about 4:30 (for the supper).

Reminders:

Fees are now past due for the second half.

All Christmas music should have been handed in.

No rehearsal February 21 - due to the school break.

Also: please let us know if you won't be able to get to rehearsal, and watch your email in case of nasty weather.
