That time of year again...

Post date: Nov 26, 2014 6:32:21 AM

When the weather chills out and the days get shorter, the retail marathon leading up to Christmas enters its final month, and the Pep Band is off to the Grey Cup in Vancouver.

What's Coming Up?

Performances:

Our next performance will be at the Wascana Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, December 3. Please bring a stand and your music - the war-time songs from the November 11th folder, the regular folder, and the Christmas folder as we will be playing a bit of everything! Meet in the open space b about 6:15 - it will be hard to miss us. If you can help the percussion with their equipment, please meet at the church at 5:45.

Coming up after that will be our Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 14th.

Note: our performance/concert attire is all black (tops, pants or skirts, socks and shoes) as it lets the audience concentrate on the music when we all look consistent - and no one wants to be the person who everyone stares at because of the brown shoes or the blue pants...

Fundraising:

Due to the performance next week, the December 50-50 draw will be made on or about December 10 - with the winnings to be distributed at the concert.

We are having a raffle as well - please, check your email for the list of fabulous prizes. Ticket books are available from the treasurer.

Fees are now OVERDUE. If you are having cash flow issues, check with the executive to arrange a payment plan that suits you.

Please let us know if you aren't able to get to band - the best method is to call Bob or email us.
