January Update

Just for those of us who aren't getting away this winter, the weather is putting on a bit of a roller-coaster!

Watch your email when the weather turns nasty - if there's an issue, we hope to have the email out by 5pm on Wednesday night.

For those that missed last week, lots of new music was handed out. If possible, please let us know if you won't be able to get to rehearsal!

There are a couple of events in the planning stages:

- the Social Committee is setting up a board (and card) games night at Tony Roma's on Saturday March 10. More details will be coming soon!

- a day trip is in the works for both bands - a bus to Melfort and some quality time with the Melfort and Tisdale community bands has been proposed, and we are waiting to coordinate this with the other groups. Possible dates are March 17 or 24, or April 14 (all are Saturdays) - stay tuned to find out what the itinerary will be!

As for our concert, the Yorkton band will be joining us, so the time is being moved up to the afternoon. More details are expected soon.

Reminders:

Senior Band: please remember to bring your Christmas folders - there will be a bin for them. And, please, take out the music that should stay in the regular folders (along with any programs and other notes/materials you may not want to share with the librarian!)

Just a reminder: please let us know if you won't be able to get to rehearsal, and watch your email in case of nasty weather.
