Winter isn't Over yet....

So, March tiptoed in, just to get the melt started, then it shouted it was here with that winter storm this week. Now, will it go out like a lamb or a lion? And will Easter be just about as white as Christmas was?
For those who somehow missed the clinic with Brent Ghiglione, it was interesting, and gave us a fresh look at how we make the music - not just the notes, but getting the tone warm enough to "bathe in". And, in case you haven't been to the rehearsals since then, that clinic also included rearranging some sections to produce a more blended sound.
It's been great to see a few new faces - welcome to the group!
If you have some ideas for fun social activities, please let us know.
We have the schedule, so here's the scoop: (remember, for performances, we wear all black!)
Intermediate Band - plays on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:09 pm. You will need to be there, at the latest, by 6:15 pm.
Senior Band - plays on Thursday, March 21st at 6:20 pm. You will need to be there, at the latest, by 5:30 pm.
****** Senior band members - after we are done at Optimist on Thursday night we will be going to the Western Pizza on Albert Street (across from Golden Mile, formerly Skara) for food and refreshments. It is half price appy night so all appetizers on the menu with be 1/2 price. Friends and family welcome as well. The room holds 50 people.******
For those that play in the MSM Senior Band - they play Thursday, March 21st at 5:42 pm. You will need to be there, at the latest, by 5:00 pm.

*Wilma Mossing Memorial Scholarship*
Bob and the Mossing School of Music are starting up the Wilma Mossing Memorial Scholarship. All monies donated to the scholarship fund will be used to assist MSM band families who may be experiencing financial difficulties and are unable to fulfill their financial requirement to be a member of Mossing School of Music. Income tax receipts will be provided to those who donate. If you are interested, please mail your donation to: Mossing School of Music, #18 - 2720 - 29th Avenue, REGINA SK., S4S 2N8.
Fees: For those few who haven't paid yet, please talk to Sandra (or bring a cheque), as soon as possible!
Attendance: Please let Bob or Jane know (by phone or email) if you cannot attend - and here's hoping we can get a few nice winter Wednesdays this year!
