So far, no snow...

.. and a lot less frost than other years!

Thank you to all who went to Fort Qu'Appelle on November 11th, and who played at the concert on November 12th. It is an opportunity to publicly remember those who have served, although many of us think of those who have served, and those who are currently serving, all year round.

This week's rehearsals will be normal - at Thom Collegiate. However, next week, November 23rd, rehearsals are at Balfour Collegiate (see directions on the calendar entry as to where to park and which door to use). The week after should be as usual, but do check the calendar from time to time to see if there are any known issues.

Please read the email update ALL the way TO THE BOTTOM - to find out if you won the 50-50 draw, or to double-check whether there's an unplanned issue with our rehearsal location.

Also, since we occasionally have to deal with items in a shorter than average time frame, it is a good idea to check for emails before leaving for rehearsal.

This coming weekend (November 19th) is our Bowling and Pizza Night at the Golden Mile Lanes.

Our concert on December 11 is approaching quickly - please make every effort to get to rehearsals, and let Jane or Bob know if you can't be there. And, yes, we will be playing some of the old stand-bys: the Christmas season doesn't start for some of us until we've played A Christmas Festival! Watch for the poster - it will be posted both here and on the calendar entry when it's available.

After than, we will be playing at Wascana Rehab on Thursday, December 15th (both bands).

Please let us know as soon as possible if you won't be able to play at either one.

Fees (for the full year or the first half) are now overdue. Note that the second half fees will be due in January.

Remember that our fees are an important way to keep the organization going. The Hot Dog sale during the summer, and the 50/50 draws are the only fundraising we do, and there are always bills to pay.

Save the Date:

This is a summary only - details are on the calendar.
